Welcome to the Ella-Marie Development Trust website.
Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Ella-Marie and my family and friends have set up a development trust to help with my future. I have cerebral palsy a condition that affects my limb control and co-ordination. The trust will help fund my equipment, whether it is a wheelchair, bike, extra therapy or medication. Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to meeting you soon.

| EMDT hosted a night with the fabulous Ceri Dupree!
|
On the 23rd October 2009 the EMDT hosted a night with the fabulous Ceri Dupree! The night was absolutely fantastic and was a total sell out. Ceri did Ella’s trust proud, with his show stopping outfits and brilliant one liners, we couldn’t have asked for better entertainment, everyone left with a smile on their face.
We had so many generous raffle donations which played a huge part in the evening, due to the amount we have found it really hard to personally thank everyone but please be assured your kindness is really appreciated as without the generosity of kind people like you Ella’s trust would not exist .
The night raised over £1180, thank you for everyones support!

| Halloween 2008 |
| Last year the EMDT hosted a Halloween Ball in Churchill's Hotel, Cardiff. The night was absolutely fantastic, every single person who attended made such an effort with their costumes and we were over whelmed with the turn out and effort that was made.
We had so much fun on the evening and enjoyed plenty of things which included best fancy dress prize which was won by Shrek and Fiona, raffles of which the prizes were donated by local businesses and friends and family,a disco and the most important part of the evening an auction which exceeded all our expectations. In total the whole night raised a staggering £4000 which was way beyond any of our estimations.
Thank you to everyone who came to this event and also thank you to everyone who donated, helped and made such an effort on the actual evening. |

A Walk For Ella-Marie
|
On Sunday 29th April our walk of the Taff Trail in Cardiff took place. What a fantastic day we had. Everybody met at The Lewis Arms in Tongwynlais on a beautiful sunny morning. We set off at a steady pace down the Taff Trail taking in the sunshine. There was a large crowd of us, 77 in total that took part on the day each carrying a purple balloon. Ella-Marie thoroughly enjoyed herself, smiling and singing the whole way through. We arrived at the finish at Coopers Field just over two hours later. Everyone was jubilant when we arrived at our destination cheering and clapping. We released our helium balloons at Coopers Field, we are still waiting for more balloons to be found to find out which one got the furthest!
A big big big thank you to all participants and all sponsors, we will wait for the sponsors to come in and we will let you know how much was raised.
To top the day off we have to say a big thank you to Michael Stickler who daringly swam the river Taff (dressed as a Hula girl may I add!) for £150 for The Trust.
